Review:
More Than This by Jay McLean is an absolutely phenomenal novel!!

I don't even know where to start with my review. There were so many memorable moments, that if I were to discuss them all, this review would go on for pages.

Mikayla has had such a hard and tragic time in her life. With everything going on, it is amazing that she does as well as she does. If it were me, I wouldn't have been able to focus or function. Mikayla takes on these struggles and embraces them. Even though she embraces them, it is still absolutely heartbreaking. I had tears streaming down my face throughout most of this novel, however, I wouldn't have changed a thing. This novel is beautifully and poetically written.

Jake is such a swoon worthy book boyfriend. First, he plays sports. Yup! An athlete. If that isn't enough to get you started, well, he also has an accent! Throw in the combination that he is genuinely a good guy, and he will make you fall in love. He will get your heart beating and your head swooning.

Mikayla and Jake's relationship was one that every little girl dreams of. Jake was always there for her. No matter what the circumstance, or how hard she tried to push him away, he was there. His love for her never faltered.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I definitely would.

5/5 Stars!
