What an emotional read from LK Farlow!
Azalea and Drake have been through so much as a couple, and individually, that you can't help but root for them. They have this pull between them, that no matter how far apart they may have drifted, or what happened between them in the past, they somehow find each other back in the present day. I loved that Drake was willing to fight for her. You don't see that in many books, or in real life nowadays, so to see it represented in a novel, was certainly a refreshing twist.
After reading An Uphill Battle, I will certainly be reading more books from LK in the future!
