The Hating Season by K.A Linde is another fabulous enemies to lovers romance.
English (Anna) has been put in charge of Court Kensington and ensure that he stays out of trouble until his mom can win her campaign. We were first introduced to these characters in The Lying Season, and I continually was intrigued by their dynamic. I also knew that they would eventually get their own book, and I couldn't wait to see where this relationship might go.
I was pleasantly surprised and very excited to see the softer side that Court had. He had never let anyone get very close to him before, especially because of what happened with his ex. Yet, he was eventually able to let English in. He had been putting on a 'mask' in the past, and almost hiding away from everyone, and now, he has that other part of him that he can trust and open up to.
I loved English. She had a soft side, much like Court, yet, she also has this attitude to her, where she won't take anything from anyone. I think this is part of the reason Court and English work so well together.
