Broken Girl by Gretchen de la O has quickly become one of my favourite reads of 2016!!
Every once in a while you come across an author who is able to portray such emotion and depth to characters you feel as though you are in the story with them. Gretchen is one of these authors.
Throughout the story, I felt the pain and heartache. I felt the self doubt and loneliness.
It is because of these emotions, and the multi layered depth to the characters that this book will stay with me long after reading it.
Broken Girl is definitely a must read.
