When Flynn Taylor, a banker and Jodie’s personal superhero, rescues her, Jodie feels the future isn’t as bleak as she thought…but their son will change everything. Just when you think fate has relented from delivering more misery—think again--for destiny and fate will remind you that you are not in control.

Those who endure and suffer loss will clutch onto anything and all they see as good, even when it’s not the wisest decision...
This is Jodie’s story—from childhood to adulthood—and definitely not for the faint of heart.

Review:
Thank you so much Courtney for sending me a paperback copy of this book in exchange for a review!!

I am so grateful to have read this book!! It was everything I hoped it would be going into it!! It is packed full of twists and turns that will leave you guessing until the very end! I had to read this entire book in one sitting due to the fact that I needed to know what was going to happen next! I was constantly on the edge of my seat!

This novel follows the life of Jodie as she grows up from a child into an adult. Throughout this time, she has to deal with heartbreak, loss as well as try to figure out what the future holds for her. From the very beginning, you knew the Jodie wasn't going to lead a very easy life. At a young age, she is dealt with some very challenging situations that would be difficult for anyone to manage and deal with, let alone someone so young.

When her husband Flynn and her son Paul come into the story, even more shocking elements come into play! Many of these elements, I was not expecting and completely shocked me!

I devoured this book and loved every second of it!! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good psychological thriller novel!

4/5 Stars!!

Author Interview:

1) For those you don't know you, would you mind telling us a bit about yourself.
Well, I'm the oldest of 4 and with that came growing up too early. I had my two children early and married my high school love. I've been through an insane amount of life in my short time here and with that comes ideas for stories. I let my crazy out through my writing, and I hope people enjoy my version of fairy tales.

2) Who or what inspired you to start writing?
I've been writing since I was young, but 8th grade was when I let someone read one of my stories. The response was so uplifting and exciting to me. So much so that I wanted to cherish and keep it to that one experience. In all honesty, it took reading a truly terrible self published book two years back to give me the courage to do it myself.

3) Who are a few of your favourite authors?
Yasmine Galenorn and Nalini Singh. They're my ultimate favorites and I can reread their books over and over. I have, in fact.

4) What was the hardest thing about writing The Cover of Love?
The hardest thing for me was ending it. Jodie is part of my heart and her story was so intense and captivating that I never wanted it to end.

5) Which actor/actress would you like to see playing the lead character in The Cover of Love?
That's a tough question! Jennifer Lawrence is an amazing candidate and I know she would do my psycho well.

6) What is your favourite quote from the novel?
Love can consume, devour, and destroy. Love can also build, blossom, and protect. It is one of the most powerful emotions one can feel, but it can never be controlled.

7) Is there anything else you would like to add that I haven’t included?
Nope, I think you've covered everything. I'm open for more if you have any in the future.

Thank you so much!!
